At HUNTERS, Marc de Montigny drives our Private Client Practice providing enhanced Property Casualty Insurance Brokerage to business and community leaders.

Marc grew up in the insurance business.

His father built an insurance brokerage in Northern Ontario from scratch. Marc may have started as the coffee fetcher but – by earning the respect of Clients and his colleagues – he ultimately ran both locations.

Love brought Marc to Toronto where he initially specialized in insurance related technology and process consulting.

Eventually Marc managed a significant commercial business unit within a large GTA insurance brokerage. In addition to running the practice, he personally managed the risk and insurance for the VIP Clients.

Marc has hands-on experience managing important Clients and he’s been by their side when the worst happens.

Having studied Sports Administration at the University of Ottawa, he teaches the fundamentals of curling and running in his spare time. Marc himself is an avid runner and occasional marathon participant.

Marc lives with his wife in North Toronto – and is very glad he moved here for her!
